If we wrote (the last n seconds of?) the .osd stream to /data in addition to sd card this could be used in edge case (eg. long range) recovery situations to obtain GPS coords in case they are otherwise unavailable.

Eg. one user had an SD card slow error during LR flight and couldn't get coordinates off the SD card.

Just a thought in case someone wants to take it up. Pretty edge case, but could be a quad saver.
