But I found something that might be helpful for other newcomers: you might want to disable Secure Boot in bios settings before you install Nvidia driver (my computer has an Asus motherboard), otherwise you might run into a login loop after restarting linux.

Thanks andefjx! Unfortunately, I have no way to test this. Plus this seems specific to Asus motherboards, right? May be we can leave it in the issues with a more helpful title for people to reference?
