This data is collected and processed for the purposes of evaluating and onboarding you as a hacker. Furthermore, this data is collected in order to communicate with the hackers.
The legal basis for this processing is that it is necessary to fulfil a contract with you and your consent given in the Hacker application.
2.2 When applying as a sponsor of EthBerlin
We may collect and process Personal Data that you provide to us for the purpose of onboarding you as a sponsor. This data may include:
i. your email address;
ii. your project name;
iii. your dietary;
Iv: your name; and
v: your contact number.
This data is collected and processed for the purposes of evaluating and involving you as a sponsor. Furthermore, this data is collected in order to communicate with the sponsor.
The legal basis for this processing is that it is necessary to fulfil a contract with you.
2.3 When applying as a speaker
We may collect and process Personal Data that you provide to us for the purpose of onboarding you as a speaker. This data may include:
i. your name;
ii. your email address;
iii. your contact number; and
iv. your dietary.
2.4 When applying as a volunteer
We may collect and process Personal Data that you provide to us for the purpose of onboarding you as a volunteer. This data may include:
i. your name;
ii. your email address;
iii. your contact number;
iv. your country;
v. your linkedin profile
vi. your twitter handle; and
vii. your dietary.
This data is collected and processed for the purposes of evaluating and involving you as a speaker. Furthermore, this data is collected in order to communicate with the volunteers.
The legal basis for this processing is that it is necessary to fulfil a contract with you.
2.5 Press or media representative requests
When you requesting to attend as a press or media representative we may collect and process Personal Data that you provide to us for the purpose of processing your inquiry. This data may include:
i. your name;
ii. your email address;
iii. your contact number; and
iv. your dietary.

We may process any of your Personal Data where it is necessary to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims. The legal basis for this processing is our legitimate interests, namely the protection and assertion of our legal rights, your legal rights and the legal rights of others
