There should be an option to display upload/download speeds in bits instead of bytes (e.g. 90 Mbit/s instead of 10.72 MiB/s or 11.25 MB/s.
It is standard to use bits when referring to data transfer rates in computer networks or telecommunications systems. Internet providers also market their speeds in bits.

Providers are advertising the connection speed (aka line speed). I haven't seen any download program using bit/s, I think because the thats how storage space is advertised something like that. But it would be cool to be able to pick you own liking
