Element Desktop on Windows keeps failing to display properly after being in the background #2019

Steps to reproduce

  1. Have Element running, but put it in the background and completely hidden.
  2. Attempt to bring it back to the foreground.

Outcome

What did you expect?

Element to still be running normally. This image shows that. For me, this is what happens 90% of the time.

What happened instead?

Element was shown with only the window border and titlebar. The rest of the window was just white. Note: This doesn't happen all the time. But when it does, I sometimes have to restart Windows to resolve it. Other times, I try to wait a while. Simply closing and restarting Element might help. But I may get the same look immediately after the restart.

(It took several hours of waiting to this happen again.)
