Intro to Git

This is the sample project used in the 4/5/2011 hands on intro to Git.

Notes

Training Notes

  1. Install Git
    1. Windows
    2. Mac OS X
    3. Linux
      • sudo apt-get install git-core
  2. Create Github account
  3. Create key pair
  4. Fork this repo
  5. Clone the new fork
  6. Change the copyright at the botttom to your name and blog if you have one
  7. Commit the change
  8. Work issues as logged in Github issues
  9. Commit code after each issue is worked
  10. Push commits to Github
