Project maintenance

@dmolokanov We use this in several places at Microsoft and I'd like to help with continuing maintenance. Would you be open to help keeping this project going?

We've taken to make modifications to our own fork (https://github.com/kongsberg-satellite-services/appinsights-rs) to adapt it to our own use-case.

I would love to see an updated, openly developed crate instead. We would contribute into that instead.

Hi @arlosi! Yes, lets discuss how we can arrange this.

@dmolokanov how do you want to proceed? I have some time available at work to help maintain it (enough to update dependencies and review PRs).

We use this crate in a few internal tools, and the dependencies need updating at minimum and I'd rather not have to make a fork.
