So once you submit the form there is zero indication of what's going to happen and zero feedback on status changes, leaving the submitter in the dark. It would be nice to improve this workflow.

Thank you @kevinrenskers! Seems like it’d be a nice and simple improvement to either update the form to make it clear there will be no feedback, or even better, add a "thank you" success message after.
Then that message can link to further information about how blogs are added, or just provide more information (see #1137).
I recently used the form at https://www.djangoproject.com/community/add/blogs/ to submit my blog for inclusion on https://www.djangoproject.com/community/. I didn't hear anything back for quite a while, there was no feedback, no "here's what you can expect", no deny email, but also no success email once the blog got approved (after I raised a question on Discord about what the status was).
