iCalendar format contains a label:value per line, objects/subobjects are delimited between BEGIN and END labels.

i.e:

BEGIN:VCALENDAR
VERSION:1.0

BEGIN:VEVENT
SUMMARY: Proposal Review
DTSTART:20180401T033000Z
DTEND:20180401T043000Z
END:VEVENT

END:VCALENDAR
