Describe the bug
When the button reconnect to server is pressed.

To Reproduce
Both with vm running and off, if the button "Reconnect to server" is pressed, the GUI hangs and the system views the app as "not responding".

Expected behavior
The GUI should be decoupled from the wait.

System information:

  • Cassowary Linux client version: 0.6A
  • Cassowary windows component version: 0.6A
  • Linux Distribution: openSUSE Tumbleweed 20230717, KDE Plasma 5.27.6, wayland
  • Windows/Edition used: Windows 10 Pro
