Does this image support webp format for WMS?

I don't know...

• there isn't anything specific for that
• there is nothing about it in mapserv -v
• there is nothing about that in the GetCapabilities
• I didn't find anything about the MapServer documentation

Then I think that MapServer itself didn't support it...
Did you find something on how to build MapServer with WebP support?

There is something like image/avif,image/webp,/;q=0.8

But there is no document about talking about WebP, may be MapServer really does not support the format.

QGIS server should support WebP, but I am unable to find the format in the GetCapabilities after running the container from https://github.com/camptocamp/docker-qgis-server
