Can not see any devices, did you add yourself to the input group and reboot?

Hi all,
I am attempting to add libinput-gestures to my Fedora Atomic 40 image, which runs hyprland window manager.

Note your first output above shows you are not a member of the "input" group and note the error printed in the second last line of the first error output you pasted here.

I just ran sudo usermod -aG input dev but the output of

groups dev

remains
dev : dev wheel

I can confirm that the input group does exist: getent group input returns input:x:104:

Is there another way to make the "dev" user a member of "input" group?

That same message tells you to reboot. Did you do that?
