Refractive raytracing in general requires a way to support real glasses instead of fictitious glasses. Some way to support this (likely, a dependency on Mike Hayford's opticalglass library) is needed.

Hi Brandon, i did my own ray tracer engine and i use the glass catalog in that project. each glass has own unique parameters that using in the different refractive index calculation formula such that Schott, Sellmeier 1 & 2, Herzberger equations. therefore, each glass producer company share same protocol to identify every glass. When i use these glass catalogs and related refractive index calculation formula, all my solutions converged more precise.
