One way might be just to preserve all flags that are passed to buildfox, so if we pass --no-core for example than it gets forwarded to generated makefile.
Project regeneration should not be the part of the usual build process IMO. As it's needed only if files have been added/removed, and usually you're just changing contents and rebuilding.
If you generate IDE project with bf, would be nice to regenerate project if bf is triggered from IDE itself as part of build process.
