I haven't seen a notification yet when new issues are available to vote on or other actions are required. Could some be included?

Granted, my nation is 2 hours old, so I apologize if there are and I just haven't seen one yet.

Hey, thanks for the suggestion. I will look into ways of getting notifications working soon.

It seems like

  • NationStates doesn't send any notifications in the current implementation
  • iOS background tasks can't reliably be scheduled to run at specific times (i.e. when the next issue is expected)

I'll try to see if the NationStates people want to collaborate on this one - if not, the only way to have notifications would be to run my own web service to send them remotely.
