Mockstore: setting object to null

I have user.address. I want address to be null initially, then I have a mutation that will add that. So I'm trying to test this flow.

I have a function to prime the mock store with something like:

  let userRef = mockStore.get("User", "123") as Ref
  mockStore.set(userRef, "address", null)

I get this error

Error: Value to set in User.address in not normalizable: should be an object or null or undefined. Received null

It says that null should be a valid input, but then it say that it isn't.
Is this the way to do this? Is the error a bug?

It can be a bug, can you please provide the complete example with the schema and a reproduce-able case (for instance via codesandbox)?

I can't do this unfortunatelly (use our complete example and schema). But I can try to reproduce by modiying another schema.
Is there a codesanbox that I can fork and modify? Thanks
