I am able to connect two nodes irrespective of that they both have only "input" nodes.
Bug - Now if I have a link: { input: "port-4138", output: "port-4076" } And a node with inputs: {id: "port-4076", alignment: "left"}
Try to delete this node.. you will get an error as removeNode function doesn't delete the link.

Have same problem. Don't use delete node functionality provided by library. Remove connected link first, then remove node
