Reporting a Vulnerability

If you discover a vulnerability in AzureAegis, please report it to us using the following guidelines:

How to Report:

  1. Submit a report by opening an issue on our GitHub repository at GitHub Issues.
  2. Alternatively, you can send a detailed email to alvin@seatec.uu.me

What to Include:

  1. Provide a clear and concise description of the vulnerability.
  2. Include steps to reproduce the issue, if applicable.
  3. Attach any relevant screenshots or logs.

Response Time:

  1. We aim to acknowledge receipt of your report within 48 hours.
  2. Expect an initial response and status update within 14 days of submission.

What to Expect:

  1. Accepted Reports: If your report is validated, we will notify you of the expected resolution timeline and keep you updated on our progress. We may also provide credit in the release notes if you agree.
  2. Declined Reports: If the report does not meet our criteria or cannot be replicated, we will inform you of the reason for decline and may provide recommendations for further investigation.
