The current shrink-ray appears to be abandoned. Please hand over the package name to the maintainer of shrink-ray-current so they can maintain the project.

@aickin : can you still maintain this package?

Given how the mirror is somewhat popular at 1k downloads per week and how it's been out for a good while, I don't think it makes a lot of sense to have two versions of the same library maintained.

A more sensible approach, in my opinion, would be one of the following:

  • Hand over this repo + npm package to me - I would then deprecate shrink-ray-current and redirect users to this package.
  • Add a link to shrink-ray-current in the README, deprecate the NPM package and redirect users to the mirror.

Also note that I have very limited time due to other commitments, so my maintenance is primarily limited to ensuring compatibility with new versions of Node (e.g. buffers are no longer instantiated with new).
