I don't know exactly how this button works, but I expect that it works by extending the query.
Currently it looks as if the query is extended by requiring an English label. That's not good. The label should be optional.
It would also be very nice if there was a list of language tags that the expansion used and showed the first one that has a value. That would make it a better version of the WDQS service, at least for interactive querying. If the expansion was shown, so that users could include it in queries that they run directly against the SPARQL engine that would then be a good replacement for the non-standard Blazegraph label service.
