(Not the original author, just an interested user.) If you open the SVG files in an SVG editor like Inkscape, rather than in the Github viewer, the full plate outlines are there, but the document is configured with the ~60% width you see. Most laser shops would copy the outlines on to a document configured to the bed size of their machine anyway for cutting, so the document size of the source files doesn't make too much difference really, and absent any design issues the full layouts are there and ready to use.
Is this just me or are the SVG files not the full plate layout and only showing around 60% of it?
