Yubihsm-setup latest release server core 2022

The latest release https://developers.yubico.com/YubiHSM2/Releases/yubihsm2-sdk-2024-09-windows-amd64.zip

when installed yubihsm-setup doesn’t seem to work at all, running the application just returns back to a prompt with no output regardless of what switches it’s given.
Example I was trying was “yubihsm-setup.exe ksp” though similarly couldn’t get any output from the setup command at all. Yubihsm shell was working fine so I think that proves the connector?

uninstalling the latest version and going back to https://developers.yubico.com/YubiHSM2/Releases/yubihsm2-sdk-2023-11c-windows-amd64.zip

and all was fine and setup completed as expected

couldn’t find any useful logs or indication of what might have been happening. OS fully patched up to date and no other software installed on the server

Apologies for the inconvenience. Apparently, the yubihsm-setup installer did not contain the necessary dependencies.

There is now a new packaged YubiHSM SDK for Windows where the yubihsm-setup installer contains the expected dependencies. Please find it here: https://developers.yubico.com/YubiHSM2/Releases/yubihsm2-sdk-2024-09b-windows-amd64.zip and please let us know if the problem persists.
