[Bug] Logs showing greater than 24hr usage for a day #41

Watcher is running in my laptop for last 3 months. I happened to run the following cmd today:

watcher -ws -ps

Results are attached in form of png:

Hey could you please let me know which version are you using? And also can you share the SS of that day stats ?

Hey, I am using a forked version of repo but the HEAD is same as main, which is at 42b578c

I see that the data is wrong in the .csv as well.

Still, we need to find how this bug is reproducible so that we can debug.

@AnilMandliya I never able to reproduce this bug, if you still faced this issue, can you give me details how can I reproduce this.

I had the same issue. I'm on linux mint 21.1

I just installed Watcher (branch v2.0), and I wanted to test its behavior when the screen was locked (but not sleeping). I left the screen locked for about 15 min (i didn't time the exact time) and when I came back, it showed "24h" of usage of the app that I had left open before locking the screen.

The app in question was Thunderbird

I tried it again with other apps (terminal, firefox) as the active window instead, and it didn't happen again
