Updating the hosted feature service by updating the file GDB item (uploading newer version of GDB to what is uploaded) causes the symbology to become corrupted. (E.g., symbols will be assigned to the wrong layers).

@jacksoe determined that the symbology issue starts here and suggested looking at this blog for scripting to create an SDDraft then SD file.

Haven't been able to figure out how to programmatically create an SDDraft file. Posted question on GeoNet.
