Description

Below are two setups that should be working the same way but don't.

Setup A

2024-08-30_21 39 31

With Setup A, both bearings can be activated in any situation and everything works fine. The platform rotates around the vertical axis and the chassis line rotates around the horizontal axis.

Setup B

2024-08-30_21 39 56

Setup B is the same as Setup A, except I have replaced the chassis line with a line of random blocks connected together by super glue. If I start the rotation on this bearing alone, the block line rotates fine around the horizontal axis. However, while the platform is rotating around the vertical axis, if I start the secondary rotation, only the block directly in contact with the bearing rotates.

Versions

  • Minecraft 1.20.1
  • Fabric 0.15.11
  • Create 0.5.1f
  • Valkyrien Skies 2.3.0 beta 5
  • Create: Interactive 1.0.3 beta 2

After some further testing, I have discovered that the glue area defining the secondary contraption disappears when the primary contraption starts rotating. If I stand on the primary contraption during rotation, I can reapply the glue area for the secondary contraption and then it works. However as soon as I stop and restart the first contraption, I have to do this workaround again.
