• I assume you're planning to release a full version to google play, based on feature removal, like donations, and added "BaldApps" ?

• Why has self-updating apk download been removed from the github and the website?

• Will this version be available as a self-updateable apk, like previous versions ?

Not yet,
Because there are so many changes I want to treat this as a beta first.
about self-updating apk, I encounter small issues in it. I want to make it better and work better with android 11 support
Will of course be available with self-updateable apk like previous versions.
I'll even try to do it today
