Smarter time components

Is it helpful to have the date and time components try to handle date-times that are close to the present? e.g:

• "in 2 days time"
• "5 days ago"
• "in 10 minutes"
• "1 hour ago"

Likely challenges:

• Context dependent
  When to show a date or time vs when to show a 'diff' is probably context dependent. (Although we could make this configurable.)
• Static pages might be different from dynamic
  If we are generating a static page we might not want to do this as the diff will become out of date over time which could confuse users.
• Updating dynamically might be distracting
  Potentially we could have "X seconds ago" updating on the page every second. This might have value but it also might be distracting.
