v0.5.19

This update is another attempt to fix the crash that can occur if an update has a null title.

Update: Windows Defender has flagged both the installer and zip file on my PC. Therefore, I'm removing them from this release. I'll try to rectify this issue and publish another release soon.

Some of the vendors on VirusTotal are marking this release as malicious for reasons I don't understand. As far as I can tell, this is a false positive. However, if this raises concern for you, please skip this version.

Changes:

• Fixed: More complete and robust error handling. Addresses #27.
• Updated: more work on localization. This release adds English (en-GB) and Spanish (es-ES) which are primarily for testing purposes and are by no means complete and may contain errors.
• Added: Language selection on Setting page. The selection UI may change in the future.

0.5.12 - Column Order, Keyboard Navigation

This update includes a new setting, Column order changes are saved, and keyboard navigation in the grid.

Changes:

• New: A new option on the Settings -> Application Settings page is available to select the first row in the grid on application start. This will populate the details pane without the need to click on an update in the grid.

• New: If you reorder the columns in the grid they will now be saved. In hindsight, having the Result column last wasn't my best decision.

• Changed: Enabled keyboard navigation in the grid. Use Arrow keys, page-up, page-down, etc. to navigate in the grid.

0.5.11 - Bug fixes and a new option

This update includes a couple of bug fixes, a new setting and a switch to Issue Forms

Changes:

• New: A new option on the Settings -> UI Settings page is available to start the application centered on the screen.

• New: Switched to GitHub Issue forms. Newly created issues will use the forms.

• Fixed: Lowercase descenders were being cut off in the filter box.

• Fixed: When navigating away from the updates page then back to the updates page, the grid remained filtered, but filter box was empty. Now the filter will be removed when navigating.

0.5.10 - New filter option and About page updates

This release introduces a new filter option, Escape key functionality and minor tweaks to the About page.

• New: New filter option. Starting the filter text with a "!" (exclamation mark or bang) will invert the filter. The filter will then act as an exclusionary filter. See the Readme.txt file under the Filtering the Grid heading.

• New: Pressing the Escape key will clear the filter box.

• Updated: Tooltips on the About page are more meaningful.

This update includes a bug fix and introduces a new option

Changes:

• New: A new option on the Settings page is available to limit the number of updates to process. The default is All updates. You can also choose from 50, 100, 250 or 500 of the most recent updates. Note that this number is BEFORE any updates are excluded. The item counter in the upper right will update to indicate the limit. Choosing to limit the number of updates processed may be helpful when there are a larger number of updates or on slower machines.

• Fixed: The Copy Grid to Clipboard menu selection will now actually copy the grid to the clipboard. 😳

This release contains a bug fix for an edge case where there is only one update. It also adds some functionality to the item counter and adds an alert if all updates are excluded.

• Updated: The item counter in the upper right has been updated to show the number of updates displayed as well as the total number of updates.
• New: Left clicking on the item counter will toggle the display of excluded items.
• Fixed: If there is exactly one update it will now be shown.
