This is definitely an issue that must be addressed.

The reason I didn't do this initially when creating the new injectable system is because I spent literal hours creating the original injectable development docs and not even a single person used them to develop their own injectables. Now that there is more demand for this, however, I will try to add documentation as soon as possible.
