As of 2023/06/15, the SciCat team has completed the migration to the new backend, v4.x, currently available in the repo: [https://github.com/SciCatProject/scicat-backend-next].
In order to complete the migration, this repo has been archived.
Moving forward, SciCat backend v4.x is the official backend and it is the backend referred to when version is not specified.

In the project directory, you can run: npm run prepare:start to prepare all the configuration and run all needed docker containers. After that all you need to do is npm run start
