I've added the 'help-wanted' label as I'm just not interested in doing this myself. Perhaps I'll find a use-case and get around to it one day, but right now I just don't care.

I read through the links above and the whole thing made me feel sad. I realise I'm super bias and many people get a lot of value out of React but... no. Just.. just no.

I'm philosophically opposed.

To be clear I don't think this would be difficult to do for someone familiar with React / React Native. People embed Elm in React, and Tyrian is not so different. I just don't care to become familiar with it.

Anyone that is excited about doing this, please do volunteer, I'd gladly accept the contribution.

I guess the other way to go is to use scalajs-react or Slinky (if they support native?) in place of regular React if that's more appealing to someone?
