Overview

The League of Women Voters of New York City is trying to use the Volunteers for Salesforce App and Salesforce to recruit and manage volunteers for Events (which may be voter registration drives or speakers for other groups or League sponsored events.

Who will benefit (directly and indirectly) from this project?

Directly, the volunteers and staff at the LWVNYC. Indirectly the voters of NYC.

Where can we find any research/data available/articles?

What help is needed at this time?

Helping us to figure out how to create shifts for events, post them on the web so volunteers can sign-up for shifts, have that info transferred to Salesforce, then have confirmation e-mails sent from Salesforce once the event manager has curated the volunteers. (matched those with less experience with those with more experience, balanced out shifts, etc.)

What are the next steps (validation, research, coding, design)?

Coding and design
