We're back with another week of alpha testing! We've got so much added to this update so let's dig into it!
Just a reminder you need to be a paid patron to access this Alpha build. You can become a patron at 'patreon.com/biomesyougo'
The goal of this Alpha is for players to test out our new features and give feedback on them and bug reporting.
Some things to know for this Alpha:
-There are no functional saplings
-We've given you access to a handful of BWG's blocks however not all of them are obtainable via survival so they are just for your creative pleasure for now.
-Not all of BWG's biomes are in this alpha but by release, we will have them all (excluding nether & end)
-A lot of our features are WIP so they might be buggy or not fully finished

ERODED BOREALIS - NEW BIOME
We're so excited to give you an early look into one of our new biomes coming to BWG, the Eroded Borealis. Some of you older players may remember our biome the "Borealis Grove" which was considerably a boring biome. We've scrapped that and come back with a borealis that is truly worth finding.
NOTES:
-Borealis Spikes is currently a bit buggy when generating in the world and we aim to fix this by the next alpha!
-We have some more things to add to this biome but wanted to launch it early for your feedback!
CRIMSON TUNDRA - NEW BIOME
Another biome we are adding to the snowy regions is the Crimson Tundra. This is a newer concept inspired by the Cardinal Tundra from BYG. We've given it more unique terrain and color schemes and have a few more unique things planned for this biome that we can't reveal just yet so stay tuned. The aim of this biome is to allow players to settle down in colder climates and not have to worry about snow or ice, it's a "cold" biome and we hope the added particles and sounds make it feel like a colder biome.
STRUCTURES
ASPEN MANOR - NEW STRUCTURE
We're really excited for you all to find our newest structure the Aspen Manor, this is a hostile structure similar to pillager outposts or
woodland mansions. Players will need to fight through Vindicators that spawn near the manor and then kill the long-forgotten Illusioner who roams the house as well. Players can find sweet rewards throughout it and don't forget to check the attic for a special reward! We have some more hostile structures planned since we don't want your adventures to be so easy all the time.
###BUG FIXES
-Fixes some biomes not respecting the above preliminary surface rule
###QUALITY OF LIFE UPDATES
-added a new QuickSand Advancement
-Added "saplings" that currently only grow oak trees for now (we are still working on them and hopefully have them done by the next alpha)
-Added White & Yellow Sakura Petals
-Removed White & Yellow Sakura Foliage
-Updates Sakura leaf textures to be more vibrant
FINAL NOTES
We hope you are all enjoying these alpha tests and the timeline is looking very promising for the end of June/early July for our first public beta!
