I love the stylistic alternates of the font like e,g,k and can easily use it in Illustrator. But it is impossible for me to use it in any other Tool like Word. I can not see the Glyphs in the Glyphs Table.
his is a surprising behavior for me, as I see it in the glyph table in Illustrator. What could be the reason for this? Can't use the alternative representations in other programs except Illustrator?

Word only has a Character Map, not a Glyph Browser.
Characters all have a Unicode code point.
The glyphs for the stylistic alternates do not have Unicode code points so they do not appear in the Word character map.
This a limitation of Word (and its poor support for OpenType).
