SUTDCO Introductory Session

We will be conducting an Introductory Session to expose members of the SUTD community to a few basics of playing a Chinese instrument, and let them know more about SUTDCO.

Session intent (what to expect)
• They will be given a brief introduction to SUTDCO and get to try out various instruments available to learn. At the end of the try-out segment, participants will choose an instrument to work on for the session.
• After deciding on an instrument, they will learn to play a simple piece with the guidance of our professional instructors.
• Towards the end of the session, participants will perform the piece together. There will be a SUTDCO member signup form for those participants who are interested to continue learning.
• There is no pre-requisite knowledge or skills required as we welcome beginners.

Speakers/Workshop facilitators
SUTDCO instructors will be the ones conducting the workshop, and SUTDCO members will be around to help out.

@Fishbiscuit Apologies for the late reply. We will change our session name to "Discovering Chinese Orchestra". MR1 is at Sports & Recreation Centre Level 2, we have fixed bookings of MR1 every Monday. Our proposed date would be 27 May, 6pm - 9pm. Thank you!

Sorry, are we able to change our timing to 7.30pm - 10pm? The cluster rep mentioned to us that we are unable to have our session beyond 9pm but a few of the fifth rows have their sessions after 9 as well. Most of our members will be on internship so 7.30pm would be a better timing.

Another thing, I have checked the discovery calendar and our session was listed under 30 may instead of 27 may?
