Carplay won’t initiate both wired and wireless

I have problems both with my iPhone Xs and old 7 on 14.8 launching carplay. This occurs both with wired and wireless. The 7 works fine when jailbroken with odysseyra1n.

Unlikely to be fixable. I only have an iPad on 14.3 and iPod touch on 14.8 to test; neither of which support CarPlay

also don't have a CarPlay receiver; all of the original taurine testers are long gone as it's been over 2 years since iOS 14

(14.8 jailbreak only exists because of components reused from incomplete Cheyote)

I understand and respect your constraints. Just an observation that may or may not help. CarPlay works fine on my 14.4 Xs jailbroken with Taurine. So it appears the issue presents only on higher versions of 14.x when jailbroken.
