HR- Dashboard using Tableau

Introduction

This comprehensive HR dashboard, built in Tableau, provides an in-depth analysis of human resource metrics aimed at supporting strategic decision-making for HR managers. It offers a blend of high-level summaries and detailed employee records, allowing for both quick insights and deep-dive analysis into various HR factors such as hiring trends, employee demographics, and salary distributions.

Demographics Breakdown: Gender ratios, age distribution, and performance correlations based on education.

Salary and Income Analysis: Comparative salary metrics across education levels and insights into age versus salary dynamics.

Data Sources: This dashboard utilizes data from Facker systems, including employee records, payroll databases, and demographic surveys.

Employees with PhD qualifications earn the highest salaries, with females averaging $93K and males $80K.

Gender Pay Gap:

There is a notable salary disparity where males earn more across Bachelor’s and Master’s degree holders.

Age vs. Salary:

Positions such as Finance Managers and IT Managers show higher salaries across age groups, while roles like HR Assistants and Sales Specialists have lower salary ranges regardless of age.

The Employee Records View allows users to filter employee data by various criteria, such as department, job title, education, and location, enabling granular analysis of individual employee information.

Filters:

Apply filters such as department, job title, education, and gender to narrow down your analysis.

Interactive Visualizations:

Click on charts and visual elements to explore specific metrics or details.

This dashboard was built using Tableau, with data extracted from various sources including employee records, payroll data, and demographic information. It is optimized for desktop browsers, with a fixed size layout to prevent unwanted white lines or misalignments in Tableau Public.

If you encounter any visual issues such as white lines or misaligned charts, ensure that the dashboard's layout containers have no padding and that the background and borders of each chart are set to match.

Ensure that all data extracts are properly included when publishing to Tableau Public for the dashboard to display all interactive elements correctly.
