Use LM7805 5V voltage regulator.

Left = +12V

Middle = 12V Gnd

Right = 330 Ohm resistor

Middle = 150 Ohm resistor

Battery+ = +1.6V = Connection of other ends both resistors together.

Battery- = Gnd = Middle
