This project is designed to download and run the latest version of Vencord CLI for Windows. Once installed with the provided MSI installer, you can simply type vencordinstall in your command prompt to open the latest version of Vencord CLI.
- Automatically checks for the latest version of Vencord CLI from GitHub.
- Downloads and updates the local version if a new version is available.
- Runs the Vencord CLI executable. (🤯)
- Download and run the MSI installer.
- After installation, you can use the command
vencordinstallin your terminal to run the latest version of Vencord CLI.
- Download the vencordinstall-win-amd64-portable.zip.
- Extract it to a directory of your choice.
- After extraction, you can use
vencordinstall.exeto run the latest version of Vencord CLI.
I created this project out of laziness to avoid manually checking and updating Vencord CLI every time Discord breaks my installation. All credits for Vencord go to Vendicated on GitHub. This software was also made as a learning exercise for publishing a package on Winget, which I plan to do for WebDeck later.
