Describe the feature

Unlike some other launchers, Lawnchair doesn't have the ability to rename app-created shortcuts. For example you can add Google Maps people shortcuts, or Google Home automations to the home screen, the launcher treats them as widgets that cannot be renamed or customized in any way but in appearance they resemble any other app launcher shortcut.

Why would it be useful to add?

Android is all about customization. Lawnchair is all about being better than Pixel launcher, while remaining simple. I think this feature fits into the scope of all the above.

Did the feature exist in Lawnchair v2? (Play Store version)

No
