There are two types of copy-pasting of files that can be done:

Right-clicking on an image already in browser and selecting "Copy Image"
Copying a file from the OS (like Windows Explorer) and pasting that into the browser.

As of Firefox 116 it supports both of those, so support should be added to Lantern.

This could be useful.
