According to the wiki for this trivia puzzle, there is a "simple mathematical pattern" that the player can use to game the questions. To me this seems a bit silly that the questions are gameable like this likely due to a lazy SE developer originally. My question, which I think I know the answer, but wouldn't it make more sense if the answers were truly randomized such that it wasn't made super obvious which is right, and the player had to actually do some math, which seems like the spirit of the puzzle. I'm assuming strict adherence to wiki is likely the path and servers can customize however they want downstream, but just thought I'd ask.

Also if anyone has advice on ways to approach these questions, I'd appreciate the input. On wings we didn't have a way (especially retroactively) to figure these things out, so they were omitted.

For the number game stuff: if it's crap on retail, it should be crap on LSB. It's not like this is abusable for gil or BiS gear, so it's not that big a deal |
