Building Mythic Magian Trials, define trialTarget variable?

I think I figured 99% of it out now, I have new functioning magian trials but I still cant find ONE piece of data:

trialTarget, where are these numbers defined other than throwing a random unused number into the magianobjectives file? or is that all there is to it, in which case the variable feels redundant as it also requires the trial ID to be defined and uses it to pull the info regardless of the "target" number.

Any updates on this? I looked into it as well and can't find any table where the trialTarget is more defined. It seems like basically all the remaining info needed is in magianobjectives and is collected based on the trialId. The only other related file in which I'm seeing trialTarget referenced is the first case in the xi.magian.magianEventUpdate in magiantrials.lua.
