I think some words are missing in this sentence in Section 2.2:

"At the same time, the alpha of 5% guarantees that (in the long-run) 5% of the 100 studies where the null hypothesis is true will Type 1 errors: 5% = 5."

Also, "long run" in usually written as two words in the phrase "in the long run" (this applies throughout this chapter).

For consistency, the following sentence could also have the proportion expressed as a percentage:

"When we do 200 studies, at most 0.05 = 10 could possibly be false positives (if was true in all experiments)."

Instead of 0.05, I suggest writing 5% to better connect to the previous sentence and avoid the mathematically odd statement of "0.05 = 10".
