When performing a lookup in the MARC Countries vocabulary (from id.loc.gov, 1st under "Geographic" ), the lookup does not happen. Instead we get a message saying "failed to fetch" (Chrome) or "NetworkError when attempting to fetch resource" (Firefox). Everything else from id.loc.gov works fine.
We are looking into this. Our plan is we will not delete any LOC cache-based lookups until we have direct lookup alternatives available, and communicate to Sinopia template managers when we do, so they can swap out lookups.

From Justin: Seems to be on the QA side. https://lookup.ld4l.org/authorities/search/linked_data/loccountries_ld4l_cache?q=bel[…]ds=10&lang=en&context=true&response_header=true&startRecord=1 results in {"errors":"Unable to initialize linked data authority 'LOCCOUNTRIES_LD4L_CACHE'"}
Does this mean it was cached and you took down the cache? We don't have an alternative...
