Use pause command or FarmingPausedByDefault property of farming preferences in bot's config. Then you can control yourself the behaviour of cards farming module.

By default ASF will farm whenever it can, this includes farming "as soon as you quit the game". Since you can run a game when ASF is farming, it's not needed to pause manually: https://github.com/JustArchiNET/ArchiSteamFarm/wiki/FAQ#can-i-play-a-game-while-asf-is-farming
