SDA to ASF transfer

• With the SDA kinda dead, I'm looking to transfer to ASF. With the log-in problems, can I still transfer the files without the 15day hold? the wiki says "If you have your authenticator running in SDA already,", I'm just asking coz' SDA has problems now and I don't want to ruin the account in the process.

• is the "2faok [Bots]" command a continuous acceptance of pending confirmations or just one time? and does it include market listings?

• And is there a way for ASF to release just a version for 2fa and quick-confirm listings/trades? Some would just need the SDA-like functions.

• Importing file from SDA work the same as before, and it does not include any hold. And yes, SDA is still running your authenticator - as in, it still can generate valid 2fa codes.
• 2faok commands accepts all currently pending confirmation, both trades and market. There is no "continuous acceptance" in ASF.
• there is no need for a separate version. set bot as "paused" in config file - and voila, it won't do anything, but will be able to generate codes and confirm trades/market listings.

separate version can be a bit more user-friendly for just accepting confirmations/trade and for adding 2fa.

• i watched some vids (the vid was a couple for years ago), and somewhere it says that it's better to limit to 10 bots. Does it still stand today? And is it just for idling? Will the number of accounts matter if I will use ASF for just the 2FA?

The number of accounts always matters. This is a guideline made by Valve themselves and it is about owning more than 10 accounts. However, as of today they do not really enforce it unless you hammer their servers with lots of requests. If you decide to use more than that number of accounts in ASF we strongly recommend you increase the "...LimiterDelay" values in your global config.
