There's a new open-hardware CM4 compatible board being worked on: https://www.crowdsupply.com/ov-tech-gmbh/pi-mx8-module

How similar is the hardware?

SOC: NXP i.MX 8M Plus

4x A53 cores at up to 1.8 GHz / 1x M7 core at up to 700 MHz
1 GB/2 GB/4 GB/8 GB LPDDR4 system memory
Vivante GC7000UL GPU

Would it be viable to support that board with a fork of this repo?
