I tried both the server and the desktop images from the 1.6 tag artifacts using qemu in a windows 10 host.
The server image boot correctly and I was able to log-in into the emulated arm limux machine without any issues.
Unfortunatly I could not watch the desktop on qemu due to a dpuv1/lib_dpu.c error (368 open file error).
The system booted up but it seems weston had some issue. I goggled the error wo/any luck.
After that I setup an Ubuntu 20.04 VM on windows, installed dependencies as required in the readme and tried the same desktop image using qemu from linux. Same result.
So I decided to go further and do the full build on the VM (bad idea in terms of time as it took almost two days!!!)
In this process I discovered that this site is no longer available:
So after the 2 days (it can be improved) I got the two new images.
Tried the qemu script and got the same result. I could not see the Ubuntu Desktop on QEMU.
Do you have any clue where the problem may be?
