Suggestion: Thunderbird integration

Using FanFicFare with a Google account has become a nightmare, mostly caused by Google. Is there any way to include integration with Thunderbird, on Windows and Linux, to check email?

Drag and drop from the email list onto the FFF button works.

If anything, then this should be completely separated project from FanFicFare: some kind of Thunderbird plugin written in JavaScript and using completely different technologies than FFF.
